Project Life Week 3

Today has been quite the day to say the least. Mainly, in terms of a very trying almost 3 yr old. He was so testy today!! And I didn’t want to reward his bad choices with a trip to 1 of his favorite places- the picture store aka Walgreens. So, I had to wait till Daddy got home to have the pictures.

I will be linking up here:

We had a very busy week with Our Vacation Week. I used Ali Edwards brushes on the photos (some are not quite right- darn Walgreens!) and Martha Stewart labels. For most of the journaling this week I did two days on one card. I also included several 3x4 photos as well.

The Filler Card that has the punched stars with patterned paper behind them is an idea from Aphra Bolyer. I also included a quote from the movie The Help. (you is kind, you is smart, you is beautiful). And using the numbers on your journaling cards was an idea from Deb Duty

Here is our week

The insert for the week. My husband giving our son a haircut and a day at the zoo.

Every week (and years prior) I struggle with how to include cell phone pictures since the quality is not the best. Well, I came up with a solution that I think I like. I took 4 photos (using the Picasa program) and put them into a collage. This turned each photo into a 2x3 that I was able to add to a 6x6 piece of cardstock. I wound up with four 6x6 pages of IPhone pictures and I used some Cobalt cardstock to fill in some spots and journal on.

Cute pages, I'm sorry you had some issues with the developer. I'm sad to see it's Walgreen's because that's who I was going to try to save me the drive all the way to Costco. I think it's great that you've combined your pictures into collages, it's always fun when you can include more pictures anyway. Especially when the week covers a fun filled vacation.

Very nice! Love the Martha labels & how you incorporated all your iPhone photos.

I just started using digital overlays as well.

I bought a printer to print everything at home this year and it has been a lifesaver.
