Hello!! I should have written this yesterday, but I got to have a date night with the hubby!! We went to see Super 8 and ate at Smash Burger! It was definitely want we needed.
Prompt #31 for Scrap that Baby is TELL ME A STORY. I posed my son by his books just to see what he would do. And sure enough he gave me some wonderful pictures that I scrapped right away. I didn’t have a ‘story’ of pictures because I tend to never take pictures during our reading times. I should try to start that.
I used a Sketchy Thursday sketch and used a ton of alphas for my title. Since I had all the alphas I kept the embellies simple with just a stacked star.

Nuts about Sketches Week 167 Sketch:
I did two versions. The first stuck close to the sketch. I just added in some die cuts that represent The City (San Francisco) a police car, a bus and people walking.

The second version I changed a lot, but I stuck to the basic foundation of a grid of photos and one focal photo. I used a story of photos that show my son’s day on 7-27-2010. I also used a large sticker from Echo Park as the title (I just added ‘my’ to it). And for the background I added several patterned 1 inch and half inch strips
