Let’s Scrap

Good evening!! I know earlier I blogged about mommy-hood, but now I want to switch gears to scrapbooking. 

My local scrapbooking store, Green Tangerines, has been hosting this “Biggest Loser” scrap challenge and I have been scrapping like a maniac so I haven’t been able to share even my layouts. I have over TWENTY-FIVE to share!!! 

(Does anyone know of SCRAP BLOGS where you SHARE your layouts?? I know there is a TON for mommy-hood and photos, but I want some for scrapping)

This first layout is based of the DT call sketch. I loved all the layered on the sketch so I went to town finding the perfect papers. My photos are from a lunch out with my cousin, son and hubby. 

I die cut some dinos and layered in some felt fusion. I used a color scheme that worked off all the brown and yellow in the photo. I also tried something new and pop-dotted some words in the journaling.

This second layout is one of my new favorites. When I saw this sketch and all the amazing circles on it; my jaw hit the floor. I love ANY and ALL layouts that involve layering, clustering or stacking circles so I went NUTS. 

I had an absolute blast die cutting all these different shaped circles and sun bursts (I think that’s what they are?). I used one of my favorite collections- Queen & Co. Wild Things. I also die cut the large yellow circle. 

My son is a climber and had recently learned to climb up to this second level to play in the bushes or plum tree. He was also trying to hide Lulu’s ball and be a ‘not nice dinosaur’ to his doggie.
