Hey! Didn’t it totally stink that Blogger went down! I was so frustrated! I am going to start making a blog schedule that I can hopefully stick to since I have so much to blog, but never find time. So bear with me since this is a LONG post!
The morning is done and little man is fast asleep so I am in my ‘laboratory’ scrapping away and I wanted to share a few layouts I finished up during National Scrapbooking Day.

This first layout I started a several weeks ago, but for some reason I just never finished it. I used a sketch from Stuck?! and some photos of my son and his friends. We lined all the kids on the fence and *tried* to get a group shot. It didn’t go that great, but I did get one that was ok (are constant-in-motion, Mr. E, was a little blurry).
The papers are DCWV Safari papers and I die cut some flowers that are mixed in with Sassafrass flowers. Pretty simple!

This second was I started awhile ago and used a Sketchy Thursday sketch from 4-16. It is pictures of my Aunt helping my son climb this huge ladder that is meant for older kids.
I also made the flowers using THIS post from Ideas for Scrapbookers. Out of all the handmade flowers I have tried and made this are by far the easiest that I have found. Not too many steps and simple to do. I didn’t use punches; instead I used Accent Essentials on my Cricut to make the flowers and centers.

This layout uses a sketch from The Scrappiest Sketch 114. It is my son and his first time swinging in a “real” swing. He went really slow, of course, but really didn’t like the feeling of being in danger or getting hurt if he let go. :) :)
I made the tree with my Cricut and the blossoms since it fit perfect with the time the photos were taken (early spring this year) and coordinated with the blooming trees in the background.

I finally scrapped this photos that had been lying around my ‘to do’ pile! There was a challenge, last Saturday on NSD, to scrap pictures that involved travel. I got right to work, but just couldn’t finish in time. Oh well! At least I finished it!
I used Volume 4 of Sketches for Scrapbooking as my foundation. The papers are Basic Grey. I die cut the water splats and punched the circles.
