National Scrapbooking Day

Good evening! I thought I should do a little post about all the fun I had today! My husband left with our son at about 9am to go purchase a bike trailer and bike since we want to start doing family bike rides.

I picked two places to hang out for the day since I didn’t want to get overwhelmed and I knew that I would probably still have some Mommy duties throughout the day. I hung at Big Picture Scrapbooking’s Creative Crop with Creating Keepsakes and Scrapbook.com.

When I got on the computer to start my fun the house got quiet. Normally, I panic since the last time my son was making no noise he was quietly pouring leave-in-conditioner spray into the potty. After a several minutes I tip toe into the family room to see my precious little man peeling stickers for the FIRST time. He was bring quiet since he was concentration so hard to get the stickers on. He COVERED the paper on the coffee table (and decorated his PJs)!! It was wonderful to see him and I told him so! So sweet!

Here is Captain’s work:

I completed most of the challenges on sb.com, but didn’t post two of them because 1-I ran out of time 2-I took a break to play outside with my son and hubby.

I loved that the challenges on sb.com really got my behind in gear to scrap some things I had starting putting together pieces for.

And the BEST part is that my wonderful son was my PICTURE HELPER and ‘let’ me sort through my huge stack of photos so I could put them in my category drawers. (I used the Library of Memories system Smile )  I also put together a SPECIAL book for my son using a 4x6 album I had laying around. He LOVED having his OWN SPECIAL photo book and that really kept him occupied while I sat next to him and sorted photos.

Here are a few photos from today’s fun!!
