LIFE and Nuts about Sketches Week 151

This week has been unbelievably crazy and busy. I just don't know where the time goes :) My son came down with a super bad flare up with his eczema and we had to rush to the doctor on Wednesday. Luckily, everything will get better we just have to stay a little isolated from getting anymore germs and use a new prescription medicine. On top of that he is hitting the two-year-old independence BIG TIME! His favorite word is MINE and is constantly running around the house destroying something. And, my boss has been out sick this whole week so things have been hectic at work. Here are a few pictures from this week :)

In the scrappy world I have spent much of Sunday working on my FIRST DESIGN TEAM sketch for NUTS ABOUT SKETCHES. I have always been a huge fan and have tons of layouts using their sketches. There is always a ton of photos with plenty of "breathing" room! Go check them out!

Here is one I did using Week 150. I scrapped about my hubby's and my game night. I die cut rounded squares to represent the game cards. And I pulled out the color scheme from my shirt, but added some green and black to balance the purple and give some masculinity.

I used an older sketch (I cant find it- urrgghh) for a 2 pager about my family's formal portrait photo session back in June. I used several photos to tell the "behind the scenes" story. I also die cut all the flowers and layered them.

AND FINALLY SKETCH 151!!! I LOVED how this sketch had the trees (or any other shapes or pp strips) behind it because I had the PERFECT set of pictures. I used our Fall playgroup in November. I die cut all the trees and leaves (took forever lol). I then added some brads in coordinating colors to add dimension and interest.

Go check out the sketch! I'm sure you could use it!

Love your style and how you worked this sketch! Great job on the album id system... I just recently went and added labels to mine too. Still haven't taken photos to blog, but may do that this weekend.
