HELLO!!! Just wanted to share some layouts I did last week. I am up early before my son which is, hopefully, my new routine! Its so nice to browse the computer, check my favorite blogs and have peace before Captain wakes up!
Here is a clean and simple layout (my style) of my son chowing down on his first Subway sandwich back in August. I used a Page Map for this layout.
Insider tips:
~~~ I used a brown background to ground all the bright colors and then added white doodling to tie it into the other pps that also had doodle.
~~~ The sketch had some layering of pp, but I decided to stagger three coordinating colors. I then doodled on all of them to make them stand a little more.
~~~ I then added a simple row of buttons to tie in the whole color scheme.
This second layout is of my sister and son back in May 2009. I re-discovered this pictures awhile back and couldn't pass up the opportunity to scrap them!! Plus, I knew I had the perfect pps for the outdoor them!
I used a Inspired Blueprint sketch for this layout.
Insider tips:
~~~ I took the sketch's 12x4 and divided it so that four photos can fit. I then inked them all to make them stand out more.
~~~ The die cut borders had gaps and didn't go 12" so I used coordinating papers that I then used a border punch on.
~~~ I used two Cricut cartridges on here. For the scallop borders I used Accent Essentials and the layered flowery vine is Stretch your Imagination.
~~~ I used a flower and butterfly punch. The bird is a chipboard shape covered in coordinating pp (the bird was pink).
