Its been quite some time since I did some blogging, but now that the holidays are over I am ready to *strive* (my one word for the year) to blog more often. I have so much to say about scrapping, Project 365 and life as a working Mom. I hope that you enjoying reading my blog!!
GRAMMY'S DECORATIONS
I did this layout for the December Monthly Sketch Challenge over at sb.com and used a sketch from SKETCH SAVVY
Here are some 'insider' tips on making this layout:
~~~ The white paper is actually from a layout I tore apart. I was able to strategically place the circle, photos and other components of the layout to disguise most of it
~~~ For the flower border (btwn the yellow and red strip) I did not use the whole 12x12 element sticker border. I only used about 3 inches!!
~~~ The bow had HUGE ugly white circles on it so I just flipped it over and added some inking to make it match the layout more

this looks awesome Sabrina! Love how you made the sketch your own and added more pics to fit your layout! I really like the title too as well as the buttons!
I just love that you gave tips for your page. And I have to tell you that my mom had that same ceramic tree years ago, and my husband was just telling me the other day how his grandmother had one and he really wants to find one for us. Awesome page. I will add it to my examples with a link to your blog in just a minute.
