Wordless Wednesday

 

Well, Project Life Week 10’s post didn’t go as planned. My son decided to wake up yesterday at 6:50 and I was dead tired. So, I hope to have the week finished by tomorrow!

Here is some spring pictures taken in the rain. We are cooped up today watching extra Curious George, lounging around and watching the rain. I would LOVE to go play in the rain with my son, but he can’t get his cast wet! Hope everybody is having a good Wednesday!

And you know what happened bright and early this morning with a Mommy running ON LOTS of SLEEP?!?!? Fresh, baked blueberry muffins!! Yep little man and I made some! Yum!!

Wordless Wednesday

First off excuse the mess of my blog, I am redesigning it, adding pages and adding different list of blogs I follow. My pages will be About Me, Project Life Pages, SNR publications w-links and Digital Scrapbooking. My blog lists will be different since my interests have changed. I will (hopefully) make blog lists for Project Life, Mommy blogs, Organizing and Digital Scrapbooking.

Second off excuse the lack of a Project Life post this week. I hope to have it up tonight, but I am not sure. Life happened in the form of my son’s fracturing his leg!!! Yes, shocking!! He woke up on Monday and COULD NOT walk!! It was so scary considering my son never stops moving and prefers to jump, hop or climb to get around.

We learned today that my son will need a leg cast until the day before his 3rd birthday. I didn’t exactly hold it together emotionally, but what can I say, I hate that my son has to have this on. Its heartbreaking! We spend most of our week outside, in the backyard or at a park. Now, I am not sure what my son will be up to. Time will tell. For now here are some pictures taken through Instagram.

Wild and Wonderful Wednesday

After a rough 2 days spent at home we finally got out of the house for a walk!! Monday I just wanted to stay home and get caught up on laundry, but this backfired when little man woke up today (Tuesday) feeling not-so-good. He didn’t even want to the park!! I asked him what he wanted to do and he said ‘nothing’! I was shocked, but, thankfully, he finally said a walk was good! 

We talked about a chattering blue jay on the mailbox, neighbors and their trash cans (my son is obsessed with trash trucks and cans!), how going up hill is hard and down hill makes his tricycle go fast and what cactus are. We also took a short video of us on the walk.

Our neighbor's beautiful maple tree (I think) is starting to have blooms on it. I love documenting this tree through the year.

Just this simple walk completely rejuvenated us both. I was thrilled to be out the house (even though I really wanted to go to Michaels) and getting some cute snapshots is always a bonus!!

Wild and Wonderful Wednesday

Hello! Yesterday was definitely wild with my child that had turned into a little stinker! I couldn’t stay another minute with him inside so we bundled up, put on the rain boots and went outside. I took him over to the mud and dirt and said go for it! We dug up worms, made mud sandcastles and chased our dog. It was a blast and just want we both needed.
