Our Trip

Hello!! I hope you all stick around for this LONG post since I am covering our trip and linking up to many blogs. I wanted to share some photos from our trip to Nevada Wed thru yesterday. 

our first stop on Wednesday was the animal ark which was an absolute blast!! we were able to see a bear, cheetahs, a tiger, falcon and owls among other things.

on our way there we rolled down the windows and our son made the SILLIEST faces ever!! I was laughing so hard and will definitely be scrapping these photos (I got 3!)

after that we went to a popular mall called Legends. Little man was able to run in the rock fountains and had a blast cooling off (and avoiding nap).  I was able to get a few shirts and jewelry!

during the night we went out to dinner and went swimming for a few minutes. the next morning we headed to Carson City to see the train museum. it was so interesting to see the high desert terrain disappear and the hilly, marshy green landscape to appear.

ALL ABOARD!! with these TWO train tables our son didn’t want to leave this area and see the large trains. 

this is the oldest train in the museum and CARRIED the golden spikes that connected the east and west railroads. So cool!!

and the BEST for LAST! within in minutes of getting home around 5:30 (after a dinner pit stop at Oma an Opa’s house) my son was SOAKED. silly Daddy turned on the sprinkles and, I guess, didn’t think our little fish were going to run straight to the water. it was hilarious!! he was in just a shirt and undies (we made sure he was comfy for the ride home).
