Big Picture Scrapbooking- 28 Days of Sketches

Hello!! I just wanted to share want I have been up (along with everything else). I have been taking an awesome class at Big Picture Scrapbooking called 28 Days of Sketches with Lisa Day. I absolutely love sketches and couldn’t scrapbook without them!! I would probably participate in this class more and have ALL the sketches completely, but work takes a huge chunk of time!
DAY 1
I used a series of photos of my son down by the river when we went on vacation in March. He LOVES anything to do with water and loved throwing the stones. I also used my Mother’s Day present a We R Memory Keepers BIG BITE CROP A DILE!! I LOVE IT!! Eyelets and grommets are my new favorite embellishment along with buttons!

DAY 5
The sketch on this day was two photos, but I wound up using four photos. As usually my son was in motion and making lots of silly faces while eating his cookie so the pics are the best.
I used Basic Grey Jovial collection and Cricut Create a Critter for the light banners.

DAY 6
I LOVED LISA DAY’s sketch on this day so I completely scraplifted it. I used the same idea of using scrap pieces to make a background. I cant stitch very well so I used some old DCWV rub ons on the pices to unify the bg. I also added several stickers and rub-ons from Basic Grey Wander and October Afternoon Road Map.

DAY 7
I don’t usually do ONE photo layouts, but I just LOVE this picture of son after he ran up to me from playing (and soaking himself) with the hose. I told him SMILE and he gave me this crazy look!! Uncle Stephen then came over a few days after that picture was taken and called him a ‘little Mowgli’ hence where the title came from because it is SO TRUE!!
I used one of my FAVORITE paper collections- Queen and Company Wild Things. I have used it for so many different layouts! I layered the bg photo mat and used a Bazzill embossed 12x12 pieced of paper. I then inked and sanded it to make the leaves pop. I also used my BIG BITE again to add some eyelets. The buttons are a mixture of Basic Grey and Little Red Cottage.
